Join us to raise $150,000 for refugee resettlement in central and southern New Jersey!

Last autumn, as we prepared for our annual walk-a-thon, we shared the possibility that we might resettle and work with as many as 200 Afghan evacuees and potentially 180 refugees. This increase of nearly five times our largest resettlement total ever seemed nearly impossible to imagine. One year later we have resettled 269 Afghans, we are working with 650 Ukrainians, 275 Cubans, more than 200 Haitians and dozens of other refugees from countries around the world. We have rented over 80 apartments in 12 months, and assisted dozens of host families with furniture and household goods for new arrivals. We have provided cash assistance, case management, ELL, Employment, Mental Health Services, School Impact Services, and Legal Services as needed to all families. We have opened a permanent office in Vineland and used pop-up offices in Camden and Long Branch. We have diversified our staffing and our funding, and with your help we are prepared to keep helping the Interfaith Communities of NJ live into their ideal of loving and welcoming new global neighbors!
