Interfaith-RISE Recycled Woodshop
Interfaith-RISE Recycled Woodshop uses upcycled materials to create new items that are beautiful and functional. By purchasing from us, you are not only supporting a local organization, but also aiding the environment, as well as supporting refugees. Please contact Tim at tim@interfaithrise.org for more info.
SUMMER 2026 UPDATE
In the Summer of 2025, a new dimension was added to the Woodshop. Though volunteers were already refurbishing donated furniture on a small scale, the opening of The Upcycle ramped up the need for restoration and touch-ups. Whereas previously the focus was on building dressers and bunk beds for new immigrant arrivals, the closed borders policy of the new Administration inspired the Woodshop to pivot in a new direction.
We are proud to say that new furniture and other items are still being built and crafted, as well, as shown in the photos below of the table, bench, and kitchen cutting boards. Interested in having something custom built? Contact tjmcneilly@gmail.com to see what’s possible!

I-RISE Recycled Woodshop creates a variety of items. Planters add beauty to your outdoor plants. And for all the quilters out there, most recently added to the growing list of inventories are quilt racks!
