Household Donations

Interfaith-RISE’s parent organization, RCHP-Affordable Housing Corporation, enables I-RISE to provide affordable, supportive housing for refugees in central and southern New Jersey. Community support is crucial to helping us provide fully furnished apartments for every refugee arrival.

Interfaith-RISE accepts “dignified donations” of furniture and household items in new or near new condition to outfit homes for new refugees. Please email furniture@interfaithrise.org  or housewares@interfaithrise.org  to inquire if we are in need of your items at this time. For furniture, please include photos, a description of the item(s), location and donor contact information. A staff member will get back to you about drop-off location and timing, or arrange for a pick-up, if needed.  (If you need an item picked up, we require at least 7 days notice).

PLEASE NOTE:  We do not pick up items in the evenings or on weekends.  Small packages may be shipped to, or dropped off at, 19 S. 2nd Avenue, Highland Park, NJ  08904.  Additionally, with advance notice, items may be dropped off at our Donation Center at 127 Raritan Avenue, Highland Park, Monday-Thursday, 10am-3pm.

RCHP-AHC is a 501c3 non-profit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible.  For financial contributions, please vist our Donate page
