Free & Low-cost Clinics
HIP HOP Promise Clinic – New Brunswick
The Promise Clinic is comprised of dedicated medical student doctors who provide much needed health care services to the underserved and uninsured population at Elijah’s Promise, Inc. They collaborate with other groups to provide a broad range of social services and promote a culture of service amongst future health care professionals with supervision and guidance of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School volunteer faculty preceptors
Chambers Manor Family Practice – Trenton
This health center can cover services such as checkups, treatment, pregnancy care (where applicable), immunizations and child care (where applicable), prescription medicine and mental health and substance abuse where applicable. Chambers Manor Family Practice is a Community Health Center.
CompleteCare – Cumberland, Cape May, Gloucester, Woodbury
CompleteCare Health Network is a system of health centers in southern New Jersey that provide an array of health services from a team of board certified providers.
Monmouth Family Health Center – Monmouth County
The Monmouth Family Health Center offers primary and preventive services in the disciplines of adult medicine, pediatrics (from infancy to adolescence), obstetrics, gynecology, and dental. It also offers outpatient counseling in Spanish and Portuguese, as well as many health related services at their family center.
CAMCareHealth – Camden and surrounding area
CAMcare Health Corporation is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) that has been a trusted name in providing top-quality healthcare services to Camden and Gloucester Counties since 1978. They offer seven convenient locations to provide easier access to the care you need. Patients come to CAMcare because they know they will be treated with great care and compassion by their concerned, highly qualified medical team.
Mental Health Resources
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) – State-wide
NAMI New Jersey (NAMI NJ) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Through education, support, advocacy and public awareness programs NAMI NJ fosters understanding about mental illness, confronts stigma often associated with mental disorders, advocates for public policies that benefit those affected by mental illness, and promotes research into the causes, treatment and recovery of mental health disorders.

NAMI AACT-NOW – Information for the African-American community
SAMHAJ – State-wide
Provides education, support and advocacy for South Asians affected by serious mental illness. South Asians of Asian Indian and Pakistani origin, as well as those from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives are welcome to seek support and information from SAMHAJ.
Sanar Institute – Services are offered remotely
Sanar Institute specializes in service provision for survivors of human trafficking, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and individuals marginalized based on their identification on the LGBTQIA spectrum. The Sanar Institute’s services include trauma-specific psychotherapy; expressive arts and music therapy; yoga and mindfulness practice; case advocacy, and other evidence-based modalities.
Catholic Charities Mental Health – Trenton
Services include outpatient counseling, psychiatric services, medication management along with integrated health supports.
George J. Otlowski, Sr., Center for Mental Health Care – Perth Amboy (Remote counseling available)
Outpatient department offers individual and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors via telehealth platforms in addition to chronically mentally ill adults via virtual groups and individual sessions in our Partial Care program.
