HIGHLAND PARK – Global Grace Cafe offers a menu as diverse as the members of its church community in an effort to raise awareness and funds for refugee resettlement, as well as provide job training opportunities for recent arrivals to the country. .

Global Grace Cafe was launched at The Reformed Church of Highland Park in April, according to a statement. The idea for cafe has been in the works for many years.

“On a Sunday morning at RCHP, there are 45 countries represented through first generation immigrants,” the Rev. Seth Kaper-Dale said in a statement. “We have enjoyed many years of increasingly delicious potluck dinners as our church has diversified, and we realized that the representatives from the global community in our church community could be brought together to create a restaurant-style ministry.” read more.
